I LIKE THE GAME BUT THE FISH ARE EXTREMELY HARD TO CATCH. YOU GIVE UP WHEN YOU CANT EVEN CATCH ONE. I BOUGHT THIS GAME CAUSE I LOVE TO FISH AND HAD A SIMILAR BASS FISHING GAME THAT WAS A LITTLE EASIER FOR MY PLAYSTATION. I AT LEAST CAUGHT SOME FISH AND EVEN CAME IN 3RD IN THE TOURNAMENTS. MY RATINGS FOR THIS GAME WOULD BE AVERAGE. I AM GOING TO HAVE TO FIGURE OUT WHAT IM DOING WRONG TO CATCH SOME DARN FISH.
This was a gift for my husband , yet we have 2 boys who enjoy Game Cube. They all LOVE it! My husband does not usually play GAME CUBE but it has been GREAT FUN for all three. Definitely is a great way to get Dad included in the kids activity.KJ
I bought this game for my husband and he loves it!! It has wonderful graphics, and is pretty much like the real thing. It doesn't always catch bass, so mixes it up pretty well. And sometimes you get new lures and sometimes you don't. You don't always win. Which is a good thing, more realistic. The only thing bad I would have to say about it is, that you can't change lakes, or guys. But I bought it for him, was well worth the money.
This game is very cut and dry. Not intense on graphics, sound, or diverse play action. It has very few choices in the options menu to customize your play. The fishing areas are not particularly diverse, and the lures don't work as they describe in the menu or in real life. I've used almost only 4 lures the whole time out of my 27, thus far. I've seen better fishing action and game design for the N64 and PS 1.
It is a great game and if you are a fisherman you will enjoy the fight of bringing in a largemouth bass!!!!Oh Son!!!!!!!
